This simple and clever design holds the clew tightly in place for optimal sail shape. It is easy to fit and slides freely on the boom with outhaul adjustment.
This item is for 50mm boom diameter to suit Laser/ILCA and Feva, but can be used on other classes of boat as well.

The cap is comfortable with a chin strap to hold it in position. It has already provided effective protection against minor impacts with the boom on a Finn dinghy!
